As I sit here in my hotel room, I wonder...how the hell did I acquire so much stuff?! After hours of packing and unpacking, my suitcases now close but I wonder if I'm going to regret bringing so much stuff. I just hope I can manage to carry both my suitcases, my duffel bag and my backpack. I can't believe I will be on a plane in 14 hours and in Europe in less than 48....ridiculous. It's pretty surreal, especially since it's one of those things that you look forward too and know was going to happen for years and then it finally arrives. I hope it's everything I'm expecting.
I said goodbye to my puppy for 6 months today and I know it's silly but I really feel like she knew what was going on. A few days back she even crawled on the lid of my suitcase when I was trying to pack. I love that kid.
I will be on American Airlines Flight 1720 then British Airways Flight 264....if we crash on a remote island, pray for me.
